I grew up in Scotland before moving to Spain where I lived for a total of 8 years.  I lived in the Province of Cadiz for four years, from 1972 to 1976. I later returned to Spain in 1980 and lived in Talavera de la Reina and the Province of Tarragona until 1984. I taught Spanish for many years as adjunct faculty in Pennsylvania.  The purpose of this blog is to paint a picture in words of life in Spain in the seventies and eighties, albeit from a foreigner’s point of view.

I published my memoir  ‘Aventuras in Spain a Memoir’ at Amazon Kindle. I also published a short story collection, ‘Aventuras in Spain Short Stories’ at Amazon  and “The Fabulously Fantastic Alfa Romeo” which is about my car that I ended up taking to Andorra from Spain. Why? Ha ha. You’ll never guess.

My latest book is called “The Right Thing” which deals with Pittsburgh in the 1980s. It too can be found at Amazon.

Thank you for stopping by!
